Baco Noir varietal, a hybrid grape of French Folle blanche and an unknown frost resistant grape of North America. Bark-O Noir is described as having flavors of under-ripe, tart cherry and bright red plum on the palate. It has zero residual sweetness and high acidity. The medium bodied wine can be paired with turkey, pheasant, or barbecued meats. This wine can stand up to smoked meat or heavier veggie dishes as well (beans, lentils, mushrooms).
