Eight Oaks – Pinot Noir Aged Bourbon

ABV: 44% Proof: 88. (78% corn, 9% unmalted barley, 8% rye, 5% red winter wheat). The Eight Oaks Farm grown bourbon, aged no less than 2 years, is then finished in used Pinot Noir wine barrels for an additional 5-6 months. The Pinot Barrel gives the bourbon a more fruit forward nose with cherry and blackberry, it also gives the bourbon more body and sweetness. Notes of grape and blackberry balance with floral and vanilla to give this pour a lot of character.
