Liberty Pole – Single Barrel Wheated Bourbon – Barrel 880

(114 proof; 57% ABV) Two barrels of the classic wheated bourbon mash bill, both barrels nearly 5 years old and each come in around 114 proof. Us Pittsburgh folks tasted through multiple barrels and these two barrels, 880 and 886, were ranked 1 or 2 across the board. So we just decided to go with 100 bottles from each barrel because Liberty Pole is also trying to launch a barrel program where you can buy 1/4 or 1/2 barrels instead of going all in on a full barrel so we are essentially guinea pigs for them in that sense too. Both barrels are great though, full body sweet bourbons and easy going for cask strength
