MLH 12 Year Canadian Rye Whiskey- ABV: 58% Proof: 116. The folks at MLH, or Livingston & Son (master distiller Jack and son Noah who is swell), had the opportunity to select 2 high quality whisky barrels from a distillery in Alberta Canada that went out of business. They then present the Canadian rye to us at cask strength and unfiltered. It’s light in color and body, and also lighter on the rye but you still get a nice floral note and some fruitiness and caramel as well.
