ABV: 43.4% Proof: 86.8. (99% corn, 1% barley). Up front on the nose you get jammy notes with raisin and oak. The flavor profile is certainly enhanced by the Zin. Cask, you taste some plum, raisin, then a little caramel from the bourbon finishing with a touch of spice. The Zinfandel barrels, which are well seasoned 60 gallon barrels, were hand picked from Chateau Montelena in Calistoga, California, then filled with Kinsey American Whiskey for 15 months.
