(95 proof; 47.5% ABV) London Dry Gin finished in Ponfeigh Rye barrels for one year.
In keeping with the Rye production of Western Pennsylvania, Ponfeigh set out to make a whiskey drinker's gin. Ponfeigh
imports the Gin and finishes it for several months in freshly dumped barrels that held our rye whiskey. The Gin has botanicals of angelica, coriander, juniper, lemon peel, licorice, and orange peel that are a pleasing accompaniment to the spices it receives from the barrel. The Ginskey has a light caramel color and the spirit rolls out of the glass with a creamy mouthfeel and a palate of lemongrass and Rye spices.
