100% 2016 Dornfelder. Vineyard: John and Cindy Moorhead Farms. ABV: 11.5%. Fermentation: On skins for 4 days with punch downs 2-3 times a day. Aged 12 months in French and American oak. Dornfelder is a relatively new German variable that grows quite well in the Lake Erie Region. This is a medium body dry red with notes of berries and spices that finishes with light tannins and dried cherries. Enjoy with wild game or red meat.
