(65% rye, 25% corn, 10% malt). Aged 1 year, finished in Caribbean Rum Casks. The smell of molasses and rum are forefront on the nose with a touch of floral spice from the rye. The rum barrels really make an influence on the whiskey as sugar and molasses sweetness dominate the palate and blend nicely with the natural sweetness of the mash and then just a little tingle from the rye on the finish but all this together make a very approachable and easy drinking whiskey.
